Ernesto's and Restaurant Beba, from Montreal, are teaming up for a one night only event.

Chef Ryan Bartlow and Chef Ariel Schor have come together to create a cohesive menu showcasing Beba's cuisine, as well as special cocktails and music will be featured from their restaurant. Book via Resy.

A Dinner in Lyon

Join us on Wednesday, December 13th for a special night with Maxime Pradié. Maxime will be cooking a dinner inspired by his favorite Lyonnais Bouchon, Chez Hugon.

Maxime will be serving a five course prix fixe menu replete with classic Bouchon fare, including Salade de Sardine et Pommes de Terre, Quenelles de Brochet et Sauce Homardine, Cervelas Pistaché et ses Lentilles, Poulet Rôti truffé et Sauce Vin Jaune, and Tarte Tatin avec Glace très vanillé. 

Our wine director, Daryl Coke and Maxime have put together a special BTG list for the event, which will feature some Ernesto’s favorites (Iñaki Garridos, Envinate, Bertin-Delatte, Domaine de la Borde) and some Maxime favorites (l’Éclapart, Cossard, Dodane).

An evening at Ernesto's with Lustau!

Guests will enjoy creating a three-course menu from a variety of selections curated by Chef Ryan Bartlow. Highlights will include Cured Fish with Marcona Almonds, Sopa de Castaña con Jerez Jelee and Faisan con Salsa de Chocolate. Desserts will compliment the featured sherries from the Lustau collection.

The three course menu will be $75 per person, supplements will be available at an additional cost. Sherry flights, selected by our Wine Director, Daryl Coke, will be available to accompany your tasting. Guests can choose from two flight options; 3 glasses for $45 or 5 glasses for $65, with a special Palo Cortado supplementary glass upon request for $18.

When Ernesto’s opened its dining room doors in 2019, it caused quite a stir on the New York restaurant scene: a sleek-but-casual Lower East Side restaurant serving up topnotch Basque fare. The top toque behind the luscious roasted suckling pig, the gooey and crispy salt cod croquetas and the mushrooms and foie gras is Chef Ryan Bartlow who learned his tricks of the trade at lauded and celebrated restaurants in San Sebastian and Pamplona.

And now, as part of NYCWFF, Chef Bartlow will show you how he creates some of these culinary masterpieces of the Basque region in northern Spain. You’ll not only get to see Chef Bartlow cook and learn from his skills, but you’ll get to feast on the best Basque food this side of the Atlantic too.

Wine pairings will be provided by Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits.
